Kennedy School of Dance was established in 1974 in Nampa Idaho by Anita Damiano Kennedy. Celebrating more than 40 years of instruction in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap Kennedy School of Dance is the place to dance! Located in Nampa, the studio is now under the direction of Anita’s daughters Lisa Kennedy Cowman and Annie Kennedy Calhoun and serves the entire Treasure Valley, Nampa, Caldwell, Boise and Meridian.
Classes are offered for ages pre-school through adult where emphasis is placed first on the emotional development of our students, a place where dancers feel loved and are able to learn in a caring and supportive atmosphere. Classes are structured, creative and fun filled. Students are taught a proper understanding of dance terminology and technique, which cultivates self-esteem, confidence, and discipline for a lifetime of health and well-being.
